Wat Sri Suphan: The Silver Temple

Wat Sri Suphan, also known as the Silver Temple, is one of the most remarkable tourist attractions in Chiang Mai. It is renowned for being the world's first silver ordination hall and features a pair of silver statues of Thao Wessuwan, both crafted entirely from silver.

The temple and its surroundings, including the silver ordination hall, are located in the Wua Lai community, a hub of skilled metalwork and silver craftsmanship. This area is also recognized as a famous silverware production center in Chiang Mai.
