A food review from my Chiang Mai trip. I suddenly went to Chiang Mai for two days, so I went on a food spree. I was super quick and had a blast. I ended up visiting 9 restaurants in two days, so I'll give this short review (not really).
Deliciousness is subjective. Everyone's taste buds are different, so you might have to try it yourself. 🤭
📍Ko Neng
We arrived early in the morning, and other restaurants weren't open yet. For breakfast, we opted for the dinosaur and crocodile-shaped fried dough sticks. Haha, no, they're actually dinosaur and crocodile-shaped fried dough sticks. The flavor is the same as fried dough sticks, but it's perfect for content creators. It's cute and has a gimmick. 🦖🐊
📍Tong Tem Toh
This is a local appetizer that's perfect for those wanting to try a variety of dishes. The basics are delicious. I absolutely love Nam Prik Ong, but the deep-fried pork belly with fish sauce is truly delicious. I tried the Hang Lay curry for the first time, and I was so excited to try it. Oh, it's delicious! Pork belly with curry paste. After eating, I felt like having a light pork massaman curry. 🐽
📍fimue (피므)
A famous tiramisu restaurant in Chiang Mai. The place was quite crowded, so we decided to eat outside instead. It was better than sitting outside. The cream was fragrant and soft, and the cocoa powder was amazing. The coffee flavor on the cake was quite pronounced. Even though I don't drink coffee, I still wanted to try it. I focused on scooping up the cream. It was so enjoyable. 🍰
📍GOODSMOOD
A very cute smoothie, decorated in colorful glasses. It's not only beautiful, but also delicious. A sip is instantly refreshing. It's just right. I chose the Lemon Cream Pie because I don't like bananas, so this was the perfect choice. It's incredibly refreshing. The cream is rich, but the lemon zest cuts through the richness. It's a perfect escape from the heat. 🥤🍋
📍Chang Phueak Suki
A famous suki restaurant in Chiang Mai. There was quite a wait, but it wasn't as long as I thought. We went to the branch behind Chiang Mai University. It's a dry suki with a delicious dipping sauce. I don't eat vegetables, so I can't describe the crispness of the vegetables. (My friend told me that the vegetables were crispy and not wilted, which was so delicious.)🍜🐘
📍Groon
This was my first time trying salt bread here. I thought it was delicious. The bread was crispy on the outside and fragrant with butter. Overall, it was so delicious that I got hooked. Okay, now I know why people love salt bread. It's so enjoyable. As for the bagels, I was pretty average because they're pain begels with cream cheese and salt bread for comparison. Shio Pan is definitely more popular.🥖🥯
📍NOMBERONE
The milk was so rich and fragrant, but it also had a slight sweetness. It was so refreshing in the hot weather. But my number one dish is the toast. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was so delicious paired with fresh fruit. Oh, I was so happy.🍞🥛
📍Mama Fa Thani
This is the perfect late-night meal. Hot Mama noodles with chili paste added for extra richness. The dried squid was a perfect match. For those who can't handle spicy food, it was a bit too spicy (not at all). You can add chilies for extra kick, but be careful! Because the chili is quite spicy. 🍜🌶
📍Khao-Sō-i Khao-Soi
A luxurious Khao Soi dish with fresh noodles, chicken, and stewed pork. And the Khao Soi with fresh noodles and Sai Ua Katsu. The one that immediately wows you is the Sai Ua Katsu. It's so new! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's a new sensation and taste to try. 🍜🍗
