The most, most, most surprising attraction this time was definitely Singha Park in Chiang Rai (p1-p10). We rented a car for the whole day. Besides the classic White Temple and Black Temple, we didn’t know where else to visit, and finally chose Singha Park from the few posts available.
The park seems to be a converted golf course, very, very large, and there is a Northern Thai cuisine restaurant with delicious food and amazing scenery! At the entrance, you can rent a golf cart to drive around yourself. Each place where you should get off has a small, very cute bus stop.
The renovated park is full of flowers and plants. At the very back, there is a mini zoo. The park is so big that it doesn’t feel crowded, making it perfect for zoning out and very comfortable. The weather that day was especially good, and the photos straight from the camera look like movie scenes. I highly recommend adding this stop when you visit Chiang Rai! It was very healing for me, a city dweller (just my personal opinion). 😬😬😬
