Daijia Lane Cliffside Trail is a passage from Daijia Lane to the Jialing River.
The Daijia Lane Cliffside Trail is located on the cliff between Kuixing Tower in Linjiangmen and Hongya Cave in Yuzhong District. Below the approximately 60-meter cliff is the Jialing River, facing Jiangbeizui and bordering Hongya Cave to the east. It is the site of the old Chongqing city wall.
The Daijia Lane Cliffside Trail is Z-shaped, spiraling up the steep slope, connecting to the Daijia Lane neighborhood at the top and reaching the Jialing River via a pedestrian bridge at the bottom. The trail is about 750 meters long and, together with the old Daijia Lane neighborhood and Hongya Cave, forms the approximately 1.1-kilometer-long city wall trail, Daijia Lane branch. Here, visitors can enjoy scenic spots such as the Sajin Slope, Stilt House Side, Feixian Rock, Hongya City Wall, Cliffside Huangjue Fig Tree, and Cliffside River View. In addition, on the cliffside trail, you can clearly see the dense holes left on the surface of the mountain, which were made by the wooden piles supporting the stilt houses. These holes have a history of hundreds of years.
