OMG, you guys! Staying at the Regent in Chongqing for three days turned "urban vacationing" into an absolute masterpiece—step outside and you're right by the Qiansimen Bridge, soak in the tub while admiring Hongyadong's glittering lights, and the hotel itself feels like a museum brimming with old Chongqing stories. This trip was worth every penny!
🌉 Staying Here = Pocketing the River Views
The location is scream-worthy! Right across from Hongyadong, just a short walk to Qiansimen Bridge and Liberation Monument. The moment you step in, you're captivated: ceramic art at the entrance, "cooling mat" textures on the walls, and murals of Shibati in the dining area… Despite being a top-tier luxury hotel, it feels like it’s infused with the soul of old Chongqing. You’ll forget you’re just here to stay—hhh!
🛁 Room Details That Stole My Heart
Our river-view room was nearly 50㎡, so spacious you could spin around! Wireless charging by the bed saved this phone-addict, the smart toilet and complimentary face masks at the vanity were a nice touch, and the minibar was packed with surprises—Tianfu Cola, weird-flavor broad beans, all free! At night, lounging on the sofa with Chongqing snacks and river views was so satisfying, I didn’t want to leave!
The highlight? The bathtub! Facing Hongyadong, soaking while watching the stilt houses light up across the river. The butler can even prepare rose bubbles or a lemon bath in advance—talk about next-level pampering! (Psst: Sunset photos by the tub? The backlighting gives off major movie-screenshot vibes!)
🌃 Liangjiang Bar Hosts Chongqing’s Best Night Views
I could spend all day at the 7th-floor Liangjiang Bar! Indoors, it’s lazy jazz, but the terrace is next-level—pavilions, water features, and the glow of the opposite shore, with live singers adding spice to the "Chongqing Spicy Girl" cocktail (yes, it has fresh chili—a uniquely Chongqing sweet-heat kick!).
Photo tip: Opens at 8 PM, but arrive at sunset for softer light and fewer crowds. Snap the river + Hongyadong combo for an insta-worthy shot! Cocktails start at 90+ RMB (plus 10% service charge), but with this view? Worth it!
🍜 Breakfast That Pleases Even the Pickiest Chongqing Stomach
This carb-lover bowed down at the breakfast spread! Freshly made Chongqing noodles with chili so fragrant it’ll make you stomp your feet, plus fresh juices and Western pastries… If you’re in a rush, the butler can deliver to your room. For a leisurely meal, grab a window seat and slurp noodles while watching traffic flow over Qiansimen Bridge—now that’s how to start a Chongqing morning!
💁♀️ Service So Thoughtful It Deserves a Bow
Each floor has a dedicated butler. We casually mentioned dirty clothes, and the next day they were returned freshly pressed (free laundry for 3 items!). Want a special bath? Just give an hour’s notice—roses, bubbles, or lemon, your pick. This "spoiled rotten" feeling? *This* is what luxury should be!
After this stay, I’m convinced: At 1,000–1,700+ RMB, getting "Hongyadong views from your room + immersive old Chongqing culture + service that bends the rules" is so worth it, I’d stock up on a year’s worth of stay vouchers!
📍 Chongqing Regent Hotel: No. 66 Jinshamen Road, Jiangbei District
(A short walk from Dajuyuan Station on Line 2, or a 5-minute cab to Hongyadong—perfect for lazy travelers!)
Want a comfy, photogenic Chongqing trip? Take my advice—lock in the Regent and don’t look back!
