Ba Na Hills is a surreal mountaintop resort that combines European architecture with Vietnamese charm. In summer, the cooler temperatures at altitude are a big relief. Riding the cable car—the longest in the world—was thrilling. I loved walking across the Golden Bridge held by giant hands, surrounded by clouds and forest. The French village, flower gardens, and funicular made it a whimsical place. It’s touristy, yes, but delightfully over-the-top in the best way.
