Just returned from a family trip to Chongzuo and Qinzhou, and found many posts are misleading!

**Detian Waterfall** is best visited from June to September during high water season! The torrential flow resembles a galaxy crashing down—so breathtaking it leaves you speechless.

For karst landscapes, don’t make the wrong choice: **Mingshi Pastoral** looks like ordinary rice fields, so head straight to **Dongnayu Bay** (filming location for *The Journey of Flower*, with scenery so magical it looks like wallpaper) and **Nonggang** (forest adventures + wildlife spotting—kids played wildly all afternoon).

**Gulong Canyon** is a must with kids! Drifting through caves is thrilling, and the stalactites had their eyes sparkling. Remember to pack light long sleeves—it’s chilly inside 🥶.

For **Detian Waterfall self-drive**, search "Yuemuniang Restaurant"—it’s right next to the ticket checkpoint, saving you the forced ¥35 shuttle fee. Park and walk in (avoid the tourist center—scam!).

For **white-headed langurs**, timing matters: best chances are before 10 AM or after 4 PM.

**Pink dolphins in Qinzhou**: Book official tickets 1–3 days in advance! Choose the shaded official boat—100x safer than fishermen’s boats, with a 90% sighting rate.

Attractions in Chongzuo and Qinzhou are super far apart! With kids, either self-drive or join a family tour (our tour covered transport, tickets, and hotels—total relaxation!).

🗓 **5-Day Itinerary**
**Day 1: Gather in Nanning**
No airport in Chongzuo—our family tour picked us up in Nanning.
Must-try: *Laoyoufen* noodles, *suanye* (pickled fruits), and jam-glazed BBQ! The sweet-sour-spicy combo is divine—first bite had us stomping in delight!

**Day 2: Gulong Canyon → Dongnayu Bay**
Kids screamed nonstop cave-drifting in the canyon! Soaked but grinning ear to ear.
The painted-boat ride through Dongnayu Bay felt like stepping into a fantasy drama—peaks mirrored in water, every shot a wallpaper 📸.

**Day 3: Detian Waterfall → Nonggang**
Asia’s No. 1 transnational waterfall is unreal! Sipping coffee on the viewing deck as mist sprays your face—cool and blissful.
Nonggang is like *The Insect World* come to life! Guides taught kids about wildlife—even restless ones were glued.

**Day 4: White-Headed Langur Reserve → Fangchenggang**
Langurs somersaulted in trees! Rangers gave detailed talks—kids bombarded them with questions.
Beachcombing madness! Kids dug for clams and crabs, getting filthy but refusing to leave.

**Day 5: Pink Dolphins in Qinzhou**
Hit the jackpot! Saw pink dolphins leap—official boats are stable with shade.
Guides taught fun facts (dolphins breathe air, love small fish)—learning while playing 📚.

Choosing the right way to explore Guangxi with kids is stress-free! Our family tour handled everything—transport, tickets, hotels, plus kid activities. Moms finally got to relax. Kids loved it so much they didn’t want to leave—we’re coming back!
