ชมวิว meili snow moutain

#TravelChina

❤️ Just returned from Meili Snow Mountain with a local tour. I'm so impressed! 🏔️ We communicated via WeChat.

We left our accommodation around 5:00 AM. The weather was so cold my hands were numb and I was coughing. But the guide and driver took such good care of us. They provided blankets in the car and warm water.
We arrived at the Feilai Temple observation deck while it was still dark. The guide took us to sip hot tea and have a simple breakfast up there to warm our stomachs before waiting for the sunrise. It was such a wonderful experience.

As the first rays of the day slowly emerged from behind Kawagebo Peak, the coldness was all but forgotten.
The Golden Sunrise slowly cast a golden glow over the snowy peaks. It was truly a spectacular sight, giving me goosebumps.
The guide even helped me decide when to take photos, as the Golden Sunrise only lasted for a few minutes.

Afterward, the tour continued on to Mingyong Glacier. It wasn't a very long walk, but it was incredibly cold and windy, but the view of the long, pristine white glacier was worth the effort.

❤️ My post-trip feelings

The local tour guide was excellent. They provided warm water, snacks, and blankets along the way.

It was freezing cold, but eating breakfast on the mountain while watching the Golden Sunrise was a rare experience.

I recommend packing a warm jacket for those going, as the wind was strong.

Personal tips from this trip:

Waking up early for the first light was worth it.

Staying near Feilai Temple meant avoiding the long 5:00 a.m. drive.

Taking continuous shots of the Golden Sunrise was a snap.

Keep a power bank in your jacket pocket, as the cold can drain your battery quickly.
