Du Jiang Yan is more excited than expected.

My first trip to China was truly amazing.

After returning from the wilderness and mountains, we entered the ancient city of Dujiangyan. Even though it rained a bit and the sky wasn't clear, the people were incredibly cheerful. We met so many friendly people, and the vendors were so lovely! 🥰 We spoke simple Chinese (numbers, shopping), even using sign language. Everyone was so lovely.

The auntie at the stinky tofu shop was lovely, and the steamed bun shop was very chatty (sometimes I got it right, sometimes wrong, lol). She was also kind enough to serve us drinks while we waited.
The street vendor tofu was the best in the city! It was so delicious! I loved it! I absolutely loved it! 🤩
Next was our main meal. The shop is located at the alleyway entrance to the bridge in the middle (there's a photo of the shop front). It was delicious and reasonably priced, and it suited our Thai friends.

The location is beyond words. If you want to stroll around the city, it's lively. For those who love nature, there's a park at the top. You can walk up there and pay the entrance fee. We went hiking, which was so much fun! ❤️
