🚗 Transportation
Hulunbuir is huge, many places have no signal, and navigation is unreliable deep in the grasslands. The natural roads are complex, so with kids we chose to charter a car! The guide also took us to places not in the usual guides, amazing!

🍃 Morigele River

🍃 Greater Khingan Range and Birch Forest
The Greater Khingan Range is lush green in summer. Take the small train in Moerdaoga to travel through the forest, the aerial views are stunning!

Experience herdsmen’s life here: horse riding 🐎, milking cows 🐄, feeding lambs 🐑, grass skiing, and wearing Mongolian costumes! Stay overnight in a traditional Mongolian yurt~
🍃 The Most Beautiful China-Russia Border Road
Known as “China’s most beautiful border road,” it starts from Shiwei Port and follows the Erguna River along the border, with clear views of Russian villages across the river
🍃 Enhe Russian Ethnic Village
A small village mainly inhabited by the Russian ethnic group. Stay in a distinctive wooden log house, kids can make traditional Russian bread (baking) and DIY Matryoshka dolls! The hill behind the town offers a panoramic view of the endless grasslands!

A border town near Russia with exotic architecture. Recommended is Matryoshka Square, which feels like a foreign country! The amusement park has many rides, a favorite for kids!
