While visiting Nice in the south of France, I took a day trip to the nearby and lovely village of Èze! I hope this post will be helpful for your future trips to Nice! ✨
📍 Èze Village (about a 30-minute bus ride from Nice city center)
Èze Village is known as the "Eagle's Nest Village," built on a sheer cliff!
The entire village is perched on a cliff, and I was amazed that they built it in such a place! ✨The houses and roads were cleverly carved into the cliff, and it felt like I was lost in a beautiful little maze. 🥰
At the very top of the village is the botanical garden called "Jardin Exotique d'Èze"! This botanical garden is a must-see. The entrance fee is 8€, and I was able to purchase a ticket right at the entrance! We were able to enter without any prior reservations! ♪
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a multitude of succulents. 🌵☀️
It's strange to see so many plants on a cliff, but even more so, the view from the botanical garden is breathtaking! !!
Not only are you able to see the Côte d'Azur, but you'll be left speechless by the grandeur of nature, astonished at how high you are! 🤍
At the very top of the cliff, there's a plaza where you can take a short break, so you can enjoy the beautiful view from Eze Village!
Also, for perfume lovers out there! 🌹
Eze Village is home to the Fragonard factory, one of France's three great perfumes!
At this factory, you can not only buy perfume, but also make your own! ❤️
While learning about the history of perfume, you can blend your own perfume—divided into three parts: Base, Heart, and Top—to create a one-of-a-kind fragrance. ✨✨
It's so much fun!!!
This is a rare opportunity, and I hope everyone will enjoy it, not just perfume lovers!
*Buses from Nice to Eze run approximately once every two hours. Be sure to check the schedule before making your plans!
We also recommend purchasing a round-trip public transportation card for use in Nice or a one-day pass in advance!
On the return bus from Eze, everyone is tired, so if you buy a ticket on the bus, you almost always won't get a seat.💦 Standing on the bus back is a pain, so be sure to bring one.
Eze Village is only 30 minutes away, and offers a completely different view from Nice. It was truly beautiful, and I recommend everyone to visit!
Why not make the trip here? 🥰🥰
