Guangzhou Elegant Tour: From Historical Rhythm to Cantonese Rhythm

In the morning, I came to the Cantonese Opera Art Museum, which is a treasure of Guangzhou’s traditional culture. The museum displays a wealth of Cantonese opera relics and historical materials. From ancient costumes to exquisite facial makeup, each exhibit tells the history and charm of Cantonese opera. I followed the guide, wandering through different exhibition areas, listening to the wonderful stories about Cantonese opera, as if I had traveled through time and space and returned to the era when opera was flourishing. Afterwards, I went to Liwan Creek, which represents the water town style of Guangzhou. The banks of the bay are lined with green trees, and the quaint buildings and the quiet river complement each other, exuding the strong Guangdong water village atmosphere everywhere. I took a pleasure boat, wandering over the bay, admiring the scenery on both sides. Sometimes, there were Tanka girls singing softly on the boat, making people feel as if they were in a moving ink painting, and the soul was relaxed in the ancient charm of history and the lingering Cantonese style.
