Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park is probably the largest and closest wildlife park to Hong Kong. How can we achieve the most efficient way to play there with limited time?

Recommended route: Enter the park through the north gate and take the train - Qinglong Mountain - Rainforest Wonderland - Baihu Mountain - Giraffe Square - Koala Park - Panda Park - Asian Elephants - African Forest - Flamingo Island - Aerial Cable Car - Exit the park through the south gate

Small train: You can take lots of unmanned photos when visiting Chimelong in the off-season. The whole journey takes 30 minutes. The tour guide is in the last row, so it is recommended to sit in the back row. The self-driving route is the same as the train route. You can stop and appreciate the animals slowly, which is a better experience.

Giraffe Square: The locomotive on the left side of the square is the best spot for photographers to take photos. You can also feed the giraffes yourself.

Koala Park: See a large family of 68 koalas from eight generations living together

Panda Park: See panda triplets. There are more than a dozen giant pandas in Chimelong. There is no time limit and no need to queue.

360° fully transparent cable car (unlimited rides): There are few people and no need to queue. Choose the ring line to overlook the animal habitat.

🚇Subway: Line 3/Line 7 can go directly to Exit D/E of Hanxi Changlong Subway Station. It is a ten-minute walk to the south gate of the Wildlife Park, or you can take the free shuttle bus.
🎫Tickets: It is recommended to pre-purchase the package online one day in advance, the price is more cost-effective than buying it on the day.
