The slender waist on the bank of the Pearl River - Canton Tower + Haixin Bridge

Canton Tower, also known as the "Little Slender Waist," is a landmark of Guangzhou, towering over the Pearl River. Its white pillars shimmer brilliantly in the sunlight, and at night, illuminated by lights, they cast a dazzling glow on the water.

Haixin Bridge is the world's largest and widest curved-beam, inclined-arch pedestrian bridge. Its unique shape, spanning the Pearl River, is striking from any angle. Access to Haixin Bridge requires security checks, but reservations are no longer required.

I visited in the evening and sat on Haixin Bridge, waiting to watch the sunset. I found it quite romantic, and many others shared the same sentiment, so there wasn't much room left. However, waiting to see the dazzling night lights was worth it! The illuminated banks of the Pearl River bear witness to the prosperity and strength of this city.
