West Lake Serenity to Sacred Peaks: 2 Unforgettable Days in Hangzhou

Hangzhou completely exceeded my expectations! With this well-planned 2-day itinerary, well, maybe it was less than 2 days since I arrived midday. Day 1 started with a dreamy midday stroll around West Lake. There are possibilities to ride around by scenic boats as well! Leifeng Pagoda was a pure postcard moment. I found a perfect spot for the sunset with the pagoda view, which I really enjoyed! I had lunch near Hefang Street, then wandered through its old-world alleys, soaking in the culture.

Day 2 took a spiritual turn. I began at the awe-inspiring Lingyin Temple, one of China's most beautiful and peaceful temples. The nearby Feilai Feng Grottoes, with ancient Buddhist stone carvings nestled in lush greenery, were simply magical. Later, I visited the Longjing Tea Fields. If you have more time, the China National Tea Museum is a must as well.
This itinerary gave me nature, culture, history, and peace—all in less than 2 efficient, beautiful days. Highly recommend!
