The highlight of Dagu Glacier National Park is taking a cable car ride to enjoy the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers at an altitude of over 4,860 meters above sea level.
To reach this viewpoint, visitors take a cable car ride that lasts about 20 minutes. As the cable car ascends, the scenery becomes increasingly stunning.
We visited during the summer, so there wasn’t much snow left on the mountain peak. However, there were still patches of compacted snow visible. Interestingly, just five days before our visit, it had snowed—who would have thought it could snow in summer?
At the top viewpoint, there’s a building where visitors can rest and enjoy warm drinks at a café while taking in the magnificent views.
Outside, there are spots for taking photos and checking in. Additionally, there’s a service for renting outfits for photo shoots.
It’s recommended to visit in the morning, as even though the snow is compacted, the sunlight can be quite intense.
