Hiroshima Castle is a Japanese castle located in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Originally constructed between the 16th and 19th centuries, the castle was completely destroyed during the atomic bombing in 1945. The current Hiroshima Castle is a reconstruction that aims to replicate its former appearance. This rebuilt castle has been designated as a national historic site and is recognized as one of Japan's Top 100 Castles.
