Kai Tak in Hong Kong is a place that perfectly blends rich history with modern reconstruction. Formerly the site of Kai Tak Airport, it has now become a tourist attraction where visitors can explore Hong Kong's history while experiencing contemporary fashion and cultural facilities. It combines residential and commercial areas in one. Whether you are an aviation and history enthusiast, a family or a food lover, Kai Tak provides you with a great gathering place.
🛍️Kai Tak Retail Pavilion
Located next to the main stadium, it covers an area of more than 700,000 square feet and is connected to the park by a 700-meter-long sports avenue, becoming the largest sports experience and shopping and entertainment landmark in Hong Kong. The main retail building is divided into 3 blocks, each with up to 5 floors, housing more than 200 retail and catering shops, such as Epicland, bowling alleys, Namco, and nearly 30 sports brands such as the New Balance concept store and Oofos Recovery Footwear's first flagship store in Hong Kong; as well as Li Ning, Adidas, Decathlon, National Geographic, Nike, Fila, etc. It is definitely a paradise for entertainment and shopping enthusiasts.
🏃♂️Kai Tak Sports Park
The Kai Tak Main Stadium in the park can accommodate 50,000 spectators. It is equipped with a retractable roof and a flexible turf system that can convert different surfaces to welcome different types of cultural celebrations, sports events and large-scale concerts. The exterior wall of the main stadium is composed of multiple triangular aluminum sheets, which reflect different color changes as the sun shines on them. The design is unique and charming, and is worth recommending.
🍽️📸There are many special scenic spots nearby for taking photos and checking in. There are also many delicious restaurants and convenient small shops around, providing diversified dining options for food lovers.
🚇Convenient transportation Kai Tak Sports Park is located between Kai Tak MTR Station and Sung Wong Toi Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the MTR station.
