Explore Hong Kong's French South Village: Stanley's laid-back charm

🌊 I love the chill feeling of this “South of France” town in Hong Kong! I have been to Hong Kong so many times before I discovered this treasure seaside town!
Stanley is located in the southern part of Hong Kong. Located to the east of Repulse Bay and to the west of Shek O, it has beautiful scenery and is full of exotic charm.

🏖️ At the same time, it is also a place with a unique history.
It was once a British military base and the administrative center of Hong Kong Island. This place is full of harmonious style of Chinese and Western cultures. The sunny beaches, unique historical buildings, dopamine-filled buildings and streets full of foreigners make you feel like you are in a small town in southern France.

🍹 Stanley Main Street along the coast is lined with bars and restaurants.
On a sunny day, you can spend a relaxing time with your family or friends while sipping cold beer and chatting about daily life while enjoying the beautiful sea view of Stanley Bay.

🛍️ Stanley Plaza has a shopping and dining center. The Stanley Market has a wide variety of small commodities with reasonable prices, and it is also a good place to relax.
Spending a weekend in this small and beautiful seaside town is really chill!

🚍 TIPS:
Transportation: Take bus No. 6A, 6X or 260 from the Central Exchange Square Bus Terminal to Stanley Market Station, which takes about 1 hour. During the trip, you will pass Deep Water Bay and Repulse Bay Beach in turn. It is recommended to sit on the second floor on the right side so that you can see the sea.

🗺️ Tour route:
Stanley Market (all the common small commodities, there is a store selling raw mineral stones that I really like)

——
Stanley Main Street (restaurants and bars, the Jane eLatte Italian restaurant on P2 is not very accustomed to the food, but it is very nice for taking photos, very southern French)

——
Stanley Plaza (McDonald's, Starbucks, Ice House, etc.)

——
Murray House, Blake Wharf (these two buildings have a certain historical origin, you can search online if you are interested, they are great for taking photos!)

——
Ma Hang Park. Although Stanley is not big, it has unique scenery and is great for taking photos. Come here on weekends to enjoy the sea breeze and drink some drinks, the main purpose is to relax. You can play with Repulse Bay
