Kowloon Walled City Park, located on the site of the massive Asian slum known as Kowloon Walled City

Kowloon Walled City was once a huge slum in Asia, so notorious that it was said once outsiders entered, they could never leave. Its underground and mysterious atmosphere has appeared in various subcultures such as movies, games, and novels.

It was demolished in 1994 and is now maintained as a beautiful park. Entering from the south gate, a model of Kowloon Walled City, which boasted a terrifying population density, is displayed right in front of you.
On the right, there are remains of the old city gate and stone monuments on display. Also, an old well has been preserved within the park.

The park is a lush Chinese garden and serves as a place of relaxation for residents. The once scary and dark atmosphere is completely gone. However, it is certain that Kowloon Walled City once stood here. Be sure to visit and feel the changes of history.
