Sunsets are always breathtaking 🌇, and locations offering stunning sunset views are often popular photo spots 📸. For a truly unique experience, where you can enjoy the seamless blend of sea and sky along with a captivating sunset, consider hiking up Mount High West 🚶♀️🚶♂️. Standing at an elevation of 493.8 meters, this peak is located on the western side of Hong Kong Island. From the viewing platform at the summit, you can take in the southwest sea views of Hong Kong Island, making it an ideal spot for sunset photography. On clear days, many visitors hike up in the late afternoon to reach the summit before sunset. At the viewing platform, people secure the best spots, set up their cameras 📷, and patiently wait for the magic hour. As the sun dips below the horizon, the colors of the sea and sky transition from blue to a fiery orange-red, complemented by the vibrant hues of the evening clouds. This is the golden moment for capturing the magnificent sunset seascape 🌅. After the sun disappears below the horizon, visitors often descend under the twilight glow and head to Lugard Road to enjoy the night view of Victoria Harbour. The hike from Hatton Road to the summit takes about 30 to 40 minutes. It’s recommended to check the sunset time in advance and allow sufficient time for the hike.
