Using our 138th month wedding anniversary as an excuse to have a good meal.
The location chosen was "Le Bistro" in Tsim Sha Tsui.
After seating, we first checked out the "Today's Specials" on the blackboard, and the other decorations were also thoughtfully done.
We ordered a glass of iced pineapple soda ($68) and a glass of white peach soda ($52). They weren't too sweet, full of fruity aroma, and the iced pineapple was especially refreshing.
The avocado with wasabi pickles ($68) was served on an avocado plate, showing the chef’s attention to detail. The avocado was perfectly ripe, paired with crunchy pickled vegetables, creating a rich texture.
The Mysterious Katana Five Sashimi Platter ($338) looked very appealing, especially the three "flowers." The salmon was very fatty and delicious, and the shrimp and scallops were fresh and sweet.
Grilled chicken wing (1 skewer) ($32) had crispy skin that wasn’t too dry.
Sake-steamed clams ($108) featured fairly large clams with a generous portion.
Deep-fried Star Kids Shrimp (2 pieces) ($68) was served in the packaging of Star Kids instant noodles, definitely a photo-worthy dish. The shrimp was wrapped in Star Kids instant noodles and fried, a special method with a nostalgic taste.
Thick Tamagoyaki with Mentaiko Sauce ($78) had a salty, slightly spicy mentaiko sauce that added layers of flavor to the tamagoyaki.
Layered Salmon ($138) was torched in front of the guests, then topped with crab roe and green onions.
The scallion-free version of Layered Salmon had cucumber rolls at the bottom, topped with a generous amount of salmon, cheese, salad dressing, and crab roe, offering a rich taste and texture.
Thick-cut beef tongue core ($128) was a surprise, with a generous portion and perfectly controlled cooking. The inside was tender and smooth, highly recommended.
