【Feel the breeze at Sai Kung Bay! The Hobie sailing race is so stunning you’ll want to jump into the sea】

This weekend, I rushed to Sai Kung to watch the Hobie sailing race and was totally mesmerized by the insanely blue seawater and the sea of white sails! The autumn breeze was refreshingly cool, watching the sailors drift on the waves, the crowd’s cheers mixing with the sea breeze, creating an electrifying atmosphere~

The Hobie 16 catamarans are seriously cool! The boats are lightweight, and when they turn, the hulls almost touch the water. Watching the sailors quickly adjust the sail ropes, they zoom hundreds of meters in seconds~ Besides the spectators onshore, many people rented stand-up paddleboards to join the fun, filling the whole bay with laughter!

Walking to the beach to buy a coconut drink, sitting on the grass watching the sails glisten under the sun, I suddenly felt how beautiful Hong Kong’s sea really is~ If you want to try sailing, there are coaches on site teaching beginners. Remember to wear sunscreen shirts and a cap, or you’ll definitely get sunburned!
