For food lovers seeking exquisite dining, Mini Mao Cafe in Sham Shui Po

is a must-visit again.
I love how their menu keeps changing,
and they’ve switched up their chef team.
The food presentation has become much more refined.
Friends who enjoy taking photos and crave freshness,
you should definitely try this place😍

🔸 Slow-cooked US Prime Beef Chuck Tender with Cauliflower Purée $168
Herb-seasoned, slow-cooked at 54°C.
The US Prime beef chuck looks tender and pink, and it’s very soft and juicy.
The sauce is made by simmering red wine, beef bones, and porcini mushrooms for 24 hours.
I’ll definitely order this again next time🤩

🔸 Mont Blanc with Mascarpone Ice Cream $86
The presentation is full of chestnuts🌰
Three types of chestnuts are blended into chestnut cream.
Inside is a layer of tangy apricot preserves,
giving a sweet and sour taste.
Topped with mascarpone ice cream,
the flavors are rich and layered.

🔸 Crab & Miso Broth Risotto $120
It’s rare to finish a plate of risotto without feeling it’s lacking.
The broth is made from crab stock, kelp, and crab roe.
The ingredients are very Japanese, but the cooking style is Western.
The subtle crab flavor is quite unique.

🔸 Warm Onsen Egg with Mixed Mushroom Sauce and Orecchiette Pasta $106
Many cafes often have orecchiette pasta on their menu—
it’s a cute Italian pasta shaped like little cat ears.
This orecchiette is topped with a rich mixed mushroom sauce,
with a warm onsen egg and Parmesan cheese.
When you cut the onsen egg, the yolk flows out.
Mixed with the cheese and pasta,
it’s creamy with a strong cheese and mushroom flavor.
Remember to mix the sauce well for the best taste.

🔸 Japanese Garden Buckwheat Tea Ice Cream $90
Recently became the most popular dessert for photos at the restaurant.
The appearance is very cute—I’d describe it as two stones.
Each “stone” has a different filling:
one with sesame cake filling,
the other with buckwheat tea ice cream filling.
Two flavors, two surprises.
But eating too much of the sesame cake filling alone can feel a bit dry,
so it’s perfect when eaten together with the ice cream🤪

🔸 Colorful Soda $46
🔸 Strawberry Chocolate Snow Mountain Crunch $52
