If you come to Hong Kong and haven’t tried the Sourdough Egg Tart from BAKEHOUSE, you’re seriously missing out!
We tried the Tsim Sha Tsui branch (Hankow Road). It’s a small branch with no seating, but people patiently wait in line because everyone knows “this is a must-eat” 🫶🏻
Even though it’s a Grab & Go branch, Bakehouse Tsim Sha Tsui still keeps the warm character of a European bakery.
The smell of freshly baked goods fills the air even before you reach the door 🧈
🍮 Menu to fall in love with
• Sourdough Egg Tart
The legendary egg tart with a crispy, layered sourdough crust that’s very buttery. The egg filling is smooth, fragrant, and perfectly sweet. Eating it warm is indescribably good.
• Butter Croissant
The croissant here is another must-try! Thin, crispy, beautifully layered, with a slightly chewy inside and a buttery aroma that makes you want to forget the world when you take a bite.
Pair it with coffee or Hong Kong milk tea for a breakfast or afternoon treat by the window that you won’t want to leave 🌤
