🛳️ Tips for Spectrum of the Seas cruises departing from Hong Kong

I want to share with you my experience of the Ocean Spectrum I just finished, for some novice friends to refer to ~

1️⃣ Prepare before boarding
Remember to fill out your information online in advance and get your e-ticket and luggage tag, so you can board the boat much faster.
Luggage tip: Large luggage is recommended to be checked by the shipping company, small items can be carried on board yourself. On the first day on board you may be waiting for your luggage and have to keep a few essentials in your backpack, such as water, a charging cable, and a thin jacket.

2️⃣ Room selection
The balcony room is great! You can sit and watch the sunset and enjoy the sea breeze, which is very high CP value.
If you are afraid of seasickness, you can choose a mid-level room, which will feel more stable.

3️⃣ Dining Strategy
Free Restaurant: The Sailboat Buffet is plentiful and offers plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Specialty restaurants: If you want to try something special, you can book a steakhouse or Japanese meal.
For drinks, you can consider buying a package. You don't have to bother signing orders every time.

4️⃣ Event must play
North Star: Shocking! Rise high to see the whole sea view.
iFly skydiving simulation: very exciting, remember to listen to the instructor's instructions the first time you play.
There will be performances and musicals at night. Remember to get in early to grab a seat.

5️⃣ Shore sightseeing

Most departures from Hong Kong will go to Vietnam or Japan. If you book a shore itinerary, remember to check the meeting time. Don't come back late. The boat is not waiting for anyone!

6️⃣ Wi-Fi and network

There is a charge for Wi-Fi on board, but if you are not in a hurry, you can use the local network again ashore.

7️⃣ Tips
On the first day, go explore the way to familiarize yourself with the lower deck, pool, and restaurant location.
If you are afraid of seasickness, remember to bring seasickness medicine, especially on offshore days.
Check your daily schedule to avoid missing out on events.
