A new restaurant "Nikuniku Rice" has opened at Metroplaza in Kwai Fong. Operated by a Japanese dining enterprise, the restaurant uses Japanese ingredients, featuring hamburger steaks made from a blend of Kyushu black wagyu beef and American beef, freshly milled Japanese Tohoku "Kohki Rice" daily, and fresh Japanese eggs!
Today, I tried the limited-edition trio hamburger steak set, with a customizable combination of "Southeast Asian Green Curry (mildly spicy) + Original + Cheese."
🍔 Trio Hamburger Steaks
1. Original Wagyu Hamburger Steak
Seared to a crispy exterior, the texture is firm and chewy with a rich beef aroma. Pairing it with rice and egg yolk (additional charge) enhances the flavor and texture.
2. Green Curry Flavor (mildly spicy)
The curry is aromatic with a mild spiciness, balanced by the creamy coconut milk, which complements the wagyu beef's richness.
3. Cheese Hamburger Steak
Melted cheese covers the steak, creating stretchy cheese strands and a strong milky aroma.
🍚 Set Accompaniments
· Rice: Japanese rice cooked to perfection, with moderate stickiness that absorbs egg yolk and sauce beautifully.
· Tomato Clam Soup: Unlimited refills! The soup is mildly sweet with a hint of sourness, though the clam flavor is not prominent.
· Broccoli: Unlimited servings of this side dish, simply blanched to retain its crunchiness.
· Condiments: Six types of sauces (e.g., soy sauce, mustard, chili sauce) are available for free pairing.
🏃🏻♀️ Hurry and give it a try!
