I enjoyed yushi tofu at the renowned breakfast spot "Tofu no Higa" on Ishigaki Island! This popular eatery sees a line forming even before its 6:30 AM opening. The fluffy yushi tofu, packed with the rich flavor of soybeans, is served in a gentle salted broth that warms your stomach and soul.

The "Kariyushi Set," which includes tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet), okara (soy pulp), soy milk, and a small bowl of rice, is an incredible deal at just 550 yen! From the terrace seating, you can enjoy views of sugarcane fields, making for a relaxing morning experience. Adding a twist to the flavors with the soy sauce or miso available on the table is also highly recommended!
