Istanbul | The must visit tourist attraction in Istanbul

On this trip to Istanbul, I also visited the Basilica Cistern. It’s said that this used to be the source of daily water for the residents of ancient Constantinople. The cistern is lit up in different colors like orange and green, and each color gives the space a different atmosphere.

The columns inside the cistern have various patterns, and some decorated with leaves, others with unique carvings.

Deeper inside, there are two Medusa heads—one placed upside down, the other sideways.
