Sakurai Futamigaura, a remote tourist spot located just outside Fukuoka, is located by the sea, also known as Palm Beach. It's especially beautiful during the clear summer months, when the white torii gates contrast beautifully against the sky. Looking out to sea, you'll see a pair of married rocks connected by a sacred menwa rope. The Japanese believe these are symbols of love and unity. Young couples often come here to pray for love and watch the sunset.

Getting there:
Take the train from JR Hakata Station to Kyodai-Gakkentoshi Station, then transfer to the Showa bus and get off at Futamigaura.
