The renowned Friday Market in Shaxi Ancient Town, a historic market town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road in Yunnan, China. It is the only surviving market of its kind along this ancient trade route and is a vibrant social and commercial gathering for local ethnic minorities.
There is also a large wholesale market named Shaxi in Guangzhou, though it's distinct from the historic one in Yunnan.

Location: Shaxi Ancient Town, Jianchuan County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan province. The market takes place in the central square, Sideng Street.
