One Day Itinerary for Kamakura

Kamakura is a beautiful seaside town, just an hour away from Tokyo's city center by train. With its slow-paced atmosphere and proximity to nature, it's an ideal spot for relaxation. Here’s a one-day itinerary for those considering a visit to Kamakura:

Upon arrival at Fujisawa Station, take the Enoden Line tram to explore the town. I started my journey at Shichirigahama Station and enjoyed lunch at DoubleDoors, a charming seaside café. We savored delicious pasta and wagyu fried rice with a stunning beach backdrop.

After lunch, we strolled along the beach, relishing the great weather and were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance. As we walked, we reached the famous photo spot near Kamakurakoko-Mae Station, featured in the anime *Kuroko's Basketball*. This spot was quite popular and crowded. While some ventured onto the driveway for photos, it was risky due to passing cars. There were security guards managing the crowd, so I recommend snapping pictures of the cute Enoden Line tram from the side instead.

Next, we headed to Enoshima to catch the sunset at the Enoshima Sea Candle. Watching the peaceful sunset was truly healing. As night fell, we enjoyed the lights festival at the Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden, a romantic experience perfect for couples.

Kamakura is a lovely day trip destination, blending nature, culture, and culinary delights.
