Kamakura's Western Pure Land 'Hasedera Temple'

Hasedera Temple is an ancient temple of the Jodo sect, said to have been established before the Kamakura period.✨✨

The principal deity is one of the largest wooden Buddha statues in Japan, standing about 9 meters tall, and is quite impressive to see in person!
The golden Kannon statue, which has a strong presence, has been repeatedly restored, so its historical details are not well known.

In the temple grounds, flowers bloom throughout the year, starting with hydrangeas in early summer.🌼

It is a wonderful place where you can feel the sound of water, the scenery, and the smells.
It's a very lovely place✨✨ Please visit!

📍Location: 3-11-2 Hase, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, 248-0016
