Its architectural layout is a traditional Sanheyuan (three-sided courtyard), symmetrically arranged along a central axis, encompassing the main body and two left and right dragon wings. The house's most captivating feature is its well-preserved architectural details, from the brackets and corbels to the window grilles, showcasing exquisite wood carvings, stone carvings, and painted patterns. The high, raised dovetail roof ridge symbolizes imperial examination success and family honor, while the "Jiangxia" hall name above the door lintel acknowledges the Huang family's ancestral lineage, carrying on ancient blood and culture.
