📅 Itinerary
Day 1: Purchased a Kaohsiung transportation QR code and went straight from Kaohsiung Airport to the hotel 'City Suites'. Upon arrival, you can visit the Pier-2 Art Center, which is right next door, very close. In the evening, you can take the metro to Liuhe Night Market. With the QR code in hand, you can get off at either Formosa Boulevard or Kaohsiung Station.
Day 2: Bought a two-day pass, so after having breakfast at City Suites Love River Pavilion, walked to City Suites Pier-2 Pavilion. Then took the light rail to Pier-2 Dayi Station, almost stopping at every station. The QR code makes it very convenient; just show it during ticket checks. From Love Pier to Hamasen, there are many sights to see. On the way back, visited Sanduo Shopping District, including Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, SOGO, and Mega City Mall for some window shopping. 👀
Day 3: Spent every day at Pier-2 Art Center enjoying free pineapple cakes and oolong tea. Bought several boxes of pineapple cakes, guava cakes, and mixed apple cakes! Everyone must visit SunnyHills at Pier-2 Art Center!
