A Night Tour of Kobe Port

If you're planning a trip to Japan, make sure not to miss one of Kobe's iconic landmarks, the "Kobe Port Tower," especially at night!

Currently, I'm in Kobe and had the chance to take a stroll there. I must say, it was truly impressive. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic, especially at night when the red tower lights up majestically against the darkness. Adding to the charm are the twinkling lights from the surrounding buildings around Kobe Bay and the beautiful illumination of the nearby Mosaic Ferris Wheel. The view is so breathtaking that it's often referred to as a "million-dollar view."

The Kobe Port Tower is located at 5-5 Hatoba-cho, Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo 650-0042, Japan, near the port area adjacent to Meriken Park and Kobe Harborland, which is a hub for shopping and dining. It's easily accessible on foot from train stations. For instance, it's about a 15-minute walk from Motomachi Station (JR/Hanshin). If you prefer a quicker route, you can take the Kaigan subway line to Minato Motomachi Station and walk just 5 more minutes. It's super convenient!

Besides enjoying the view, the area is filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes. You can leisurely stroll around, savor delicious food, and take stunning photos all night long. It's absolutely worth it!
