Kitakyushu Travel: The World's Most Worry-Free Curry Shop

During my trip to Kitakyushu, I visited Kokura and couldn't resist going back to a curry shop I had loved before. I just had to have their curry again! ๐Ÿ™‹โ™€๏ธ

Located very close to Kokura Station, this curry shop is on the second floor of a building right across from the entrance to the Central City parking lot. ๐Ÿ›

The menu has only one item: "Bone-in Chicken Curry" ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ›

The curry is packed with tender, fall-off-the-bone chicken drumsticks ๐Ÿ”. The texture is thick and rich, with no soupiness, and it's incredibly spicy ๐Ÿ”ฅ. It's spicy but so addictive and irresistibly delicious ๐Ÿคค.

You can add free toppings like tomato sauce, cilantro, or green chili as much as you like ๐Ÿ™Œ. Adding plenty of fresh tomato sauce makes the curry milder, so even those who aren't great with spicy food can enjoy it ๐Ÿ™†โ™€๏ธ. If you want to increase the spiciness, just add more green chili. You can also add extra cilantro to customize the flavor to your liking ๐Ÿ™Œ.

The standard rice portion is 200g, and the price is a flat 1,000 yen. For portions over 300g, it's an additional 100 yen per 100g. How straightforward and convenient! โฃ๏ธ

The shop is run by a lovely couple who are bright, friendly, and kind. They were absolutely wonderful ๐Ÿฅฐ. Look for the chicken hanging by the stairs as a landmark ๐Ÿ“.
