Visit Kumamoto Castle and Sakura-no-baba Josaien

To reach Kumamoto Castle, get off at the Kumamotojo Shiyakusho-mae bus stop. Once you alight, follow the path right in front of you where people are crossing. There are also signs, so you won't get lost. Walk along the river for about 5 minutes, and you'll arrive.

Then, you'll find Sakura-no-baba Josaien. It's a place where you can enjoy food and shopping. The area isn't very large, so you can explore it quickly. It operates from 9 AM to 7 PM, but they seem to start wrapping up a bit earlier.
