Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Okayama Prefecture. During the Edo period, Kurashiki served as a hub for transporting goods, and the townscape and culture from that era have been preserved even in the Reiwa era. Today, we’d like to introduce "Toutou", a lodging facility located in the heart of this historical area, offering a unique stay experience.
⭐️ Accommodation: Toutou (Oku no Yado)
📍 Location: 1-4-13 Chuo, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture

"Toutou" is a lodging facility that has renovated traditional townhouses and warehouses scattered around Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, which retains the townscape of the Edo period. It offers seven distinct accommodations, each with its own unique atmosphere. This time, we stayed at "Mingeikan Minami Oku no Yado."
The accommodation is a spacious two-story building. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and designed to be comfortable for couples, families, or groups of friends.
Additionally, there is an attached gallery shop where you can purchase beautiful works by local artists. ⭐️
If you’re planning to visit the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter in Okayama, why not consider staying here?
