📜 History
Legend says two merchant brothers met the Buddha and received eight strands of his hair, which were enshrined here by King Okkalapa. Over centuries, monarchs added gold plates and jewels—today, the crown is adorned with 5,448 diamonds, 2,317 rubies, and a 76-carat diamond at the top
