Cycling along the Kamo River in Kyoto

One of my favorite activities is renting a bicycle to explore Kyoto. Cycling along the river is absolutely wonderful! I recommend going between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM when the sunlight is gentle and not too hot. If you visit during late spring, the weather is pleasantly cool, making it perfect for a leisurely ride. You can enjoy watching people engage in various activities by the river, soaking in the atmosphere of the city, its people, and the flowing water.

I rented my bike from Kon’s Cycle near the Sanjo area. The rental price starts at 1,000¥.
