Mount Phousi: A Stairway to Serenity

Climbing Mount Phousi was both a physical and spiritual journey. The 300-plus steps led me past golden statues and shrines, each more intriguing than the last. At the summit, I was rewarded with panoramic views of Luang Prabang, the Mekong River, and the distant mountains. Watching the sun set from this sacred hilltop, with the city bathed in golden light, was a moment of pure tranquility.
