The day's schedule starts at Opera Station
Opera Station ➡️Royal Palace of Madrid ➡️Almudena Cathedral ➡️San Miguel Market ➡️Plaza Mayor
1️⃣Royal Palace of Madrid
It is one of the largest royal palaces in Europe. Currently, only official royal events are held here and it is not a residential space.
Thanks to this, it is open to the public, so you can tour the interior.
2️⃣Almudena Cathedral
Located right across from the Royal Palace of Madrid, this cathedral
overwhelms with its splendid and magnificent exterior.
In fact, construction began in the 19th century, but it was not completed until 1993, so the combination of a classic exterior and a modern feel is attractive.
3️⃣San Miguel Market
It is about a 3-minute walk from the cathedral.
It feels more like a 'high-end food court' than a 'traditional Spanish market'.
4️⃣Plaza Mayor
Located right next to the San Miguel Market.
A representative historical place in Madrid!
