#ChangingFoliage
I love Kamikochi during the fall foliage season. It's so beautiful and the atmosphere is so inviting, it's like you've stepped into another world.
Starting from the bus ride into the park, you'll be greeted by the Azusa River, lined with pine trees lining both sides. The leaves are so beautifully changing, and the morning air is so cold that there's even frost on the benches.
We continued walking to Kappa Bridge, the highlight and landmark of the park. Seeing it with my own eyes, I was truly impressed by Kamikochi's natural scenery. Even if you have limited time, just walking around this area is already amazing.
If I have the chance, I'll definitely go back.
Our itinerary: We went round-trip and stayed in Matsumoto for one night.
📍We recommend packing clothes, socks, gloves, a hat, water or food in your bag, and checking the weather.
There are shops and restaurants in the park, including around Kappa Bridge. Please help keep it clean and don't litter. Or, put them in a bag and bring them down to dispose of them.
Address: Azumi, Matsumoto, Nagano 390-1516, Japan
