Dutch Square (Red Square)
Address - Bandar Hilir, near the Stadthuys
Highlights - Colonial buildings painted deep red, Christ Church, and colorful trishaws with loud music

Iconic and free to walk around — it’s where most people start their Malacca trip.
St. Paul’s Hill & Church Ruins
Address - Jalan Kota, just above the A Famosa gate
Highlights - Ruins of a 16th-century church and panoramic views of the city

It’s a sweaty climb in summer, but worth it for the view and atmosphere — no entry fee.
