Our trip to Melaka was a perfect blend of culture, history, and relaxation. Just a short drive from Kuala Lumpur, Melaka welcomed us with its charming streets, heritage buildings, and delicious food.
We started our journey at the iconic Dutch Square, with its vibrant red buildings and beautiful colonial architecture. The Christ Church and Stadthuys gave us a glimpse into Melaka’s rich past. Walking along Jonker Street was a highlight—it’s full of life, especially at night! We enjoyed browsing local crafts, antiques, and trying street snacks like cendol and Nyonya laksa.
A relaxing river cruise gave us a scenic view of the city, passing by colorful murals and cozy cafés.
Melaka is truly a foodie paradise. We had an amazing time trying Peranakan cuisine, satay celup, chicken rice balls, and more. Every meal was a delight.
We left with full hearts, satisfied appetites, and a deeper appreciation for Malaysia’s cultural heritage. We’ll definitely return!#travel #staycation
