Heritage and History at the Heart of Malacca

While exploring Malacca, I stopped by Stadthuys, famously known as the Red House. The unique red color and colonial design make it one of the city’s most photogenic landmarks. Surrounded by flower gardens and trishaws decorated with vibrant designs, the whole area felt so lively.

It’s also a great place to slow down and appreciate the history of Malacca. From the cannons on display to the old structures around Dutch Square, there’s plenty to see. If you’re visiting Malacca for the first time, this spot should definitely be on your list.
