If I could only spend half a day at Xuanwu Lake in a year, it would definitely be now! On March 21st, I captured the beauty of blooming cherry blossoms, pear blossoms, willows, tulips, crabapples, peach blossoms, and purple magnolias. The flower sea is simply breathtaking, like a dream!
Recommended Route:
Xuanwu Gate - Pioneer Bookstore (Yingzhou)
Lifestyle Festival (Liangzhou)
Guoli (Cuizhou)
Willows (Furong Bridge) - Ten-Mile Long Dyke
It’s best to start after lunch. The road from Xuanwu Gate to Yingzhou is lined with delicate pink tulips, making you feel like you're walking through a sea of flowers. You can sit on the benches by the lake and take beautiful photos with the flowers, lake, city wall, and the Purple Peak in the background, offering rich and picturesque compositions.
At the Pioneer Bookstore next to McDonald's, you can not only read books but also stamp postcards or mail them, making a special memento of this beautiful cherry blossom journey.
