The season when the maple leaves turn red, let's go to Nanjing.

Four-day poetic and picturesque tour of Jinling|Eat your way along the Qinhuai River and see the misty waters of the Six Dynasties 💫

The first time I came to Nanjing, I was amazed by the profound heritage of this ancient city! Sharing a four-day, three-night walking guide with everyone, where you can feel the millennium-old culture and check in at popular food spots~

🏯 Day 1: Must-visit route for literary youth
Morning straight to Zhongshan Scenic Area
- The pigeons at the Music Stage are super soothing (recommended to go in the morning when fewer people)
- Challenge the 392 steps of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum (remember to wear comfortable shoes)
- Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Sacred Way is great for photos 📸
Afternoon move to the city center
- Xianfeng Bookstore Wutaishan Branch (one of China’s most beautiful bookstores)
- Yihe Road Republican-era architecture cluster (the plane trees have a great vibe)

🌉 Day 2: Special experience crossing ancient and modern
Morning visit the Six Dynasties Museum (the light and shadow design is stunning)
Afternoon stroll in Laomendong (Jinling Art Museum + gathering place for trendy shops)
Evening must-see Confucius Temple night view (but don’t eat in the scenic area!)

🕊 Day 3: Limited edition red walls and yellow tiles
Morning Niushou Mountain (the Buddha Summit Palace built with 4 billion yuan is amazing)
Afternoon Dabaoshan Temple Ruins (a cyberpunk-style temple)
Evening have a drink at 1912 District (a quiet bar in Republican-era buildings)

🍜 Day 4: Foodie exclusive route
Morning Kexiang Food Market (Aunt Xu’s cake shop has long lines!)
Afternoon Nanhu East Road (a local’s secret food street)
Evening before leaving, have a duck 🦆

📸 Secret photo spots:
1. Linggu Temple Road Plane Tree Avenue (absolutely stunning in autumn)
2. Pilu Temple Ginkgo (few people, beautiful scenery)
3. Yuejiang Tower overlooking the Yangtze River (a lesser-known viewing platform)

🍲 Food hits and misses:
✅ Must-eat: Li Ji Halal Restaurant potstickers, Fang Po Cake Shop, Jinling Yang Family Wontons
❌ Avoid: All restaurants at Confucius Temple, trendy milk tea shops (better to drink Shisan Tea)

💡 Tips:
1. Remember to book all attractions in advance!
2. Nanjing Metro is super convenient, no need to take taxis
3. See cherry blossoms in March-April, red leaves in November
4. Salted duck can be vacuum-packed to take away

Last but not least... be sure to wear Hanfu for photos! Instantly travel back to Jinling~
