Okinawa Five Days and Four Nights Itinerary Sharing!

Day 1: Arrival at Naha Airport ➡️ OTS Car Rental ➡️ Lunch: Sushiro ➡️ Manzamo ➡️ Convenience Store Dinner ➡️ Accommodation Check-in (Jacuzzi Terrace Okinawa IMS)

OTS Car Rental: There is a shuttle bus at the airport to take you to the store, which takes about half an hour. You can also purchase tickets for some attractions at the store at a discounted price!
On the first day, head directly to the northern area to visit the Churaumi Aquarium the next morning.

Day 2: Churaumi Aquarium ➡️ Lunch: Kouri Shrimp Rice ➡️ Kouri Beach ➡️ Nakijin Castle ➡️ Dinner: Century-old Agu Pork ➡️ Supermarket Shopping ➡️ Accommodation Check-in (Comfort Plus)

Churaumi Aquarium: Highly recommend heading straight to the dolphin feeding area upon entry. After feeding, you can secure a spot to watch the dolphin show and then leisurely explore the aquarium.
Kouri Shrimp Rice: Absolutely delicious! The beef is a bit tough, so I don’t recommend it. Definitely try the shrimp rice!
Century-old Agu Pork: A bit pricey and the meat is quite fatty. Personally, I didn’t enjoy it much. Suggest ordering a small portion to try rather than going for an all-you-can-eat option.

Day 3: American Village ➡️ Brunch: Portama Chatan American Village ➡️ Shopping at AEON Mall ➡️ Naminoue Shrine ➡️ Kokusai Street ➡️ Dinner: Tondou Ramen ➡️ Shopping at Don Quijote

American Village: Great for taking photos. The shops are relatively expensive. My favorite store is Lily’s Ice Cream, which also has a branch on Kokusai Street.
Portama: Felt average, similar to Taiwanese bento boxes, but the bitter melon flavor is unique and worth trying if interested.
AEON Mall: Highly recommended for shopping; you can easily spend 4 hours here.
Tondou Ramen: Absolutely delicious 👍 There are many branches. Don’t order the fried rice!

Day 4: Senaga Island ➡️ Breakfast: Taco Rice ➡️ Snack: Happy Pancakes ➡️ Gyokusendo Cave ➡️ Shopping at PARCO CITY ➡️ Dinner: Ryukyu Beef

Senaga Island: Perfect for those who love planes and the sea. The shops are limited and not great for shopping. Happy Pancakes are incredibly tasty!
Gyokusendo Cave: My favorite spot of the trip. Stunningly beautiful, the 10-minute walk felt like half an hour.
Ryukyu Beef: Highly recommended! I prefer it over Agu Pork. There are many set menu options to choose from.

Day 5: Brunch: Jojoen ➡️ Shopping at DFS for LV ➡️ Okinawa TeamLab ➡️ Naha Airport to return to Taiwan

Jojoen: Tried the lunch set for the second time and found it very cost-effective and filling.
DFS: Buying LV in Japan with tax refunds is really worth it. LV is the most crowded section in the entire DFS.
TeamLab: My first visit to TeamLab was very interesting. It’s mostly filled with kids, but it’s a space where you can immerse yourself in vibrant colors and imagination, temporarily forgetting the worries of reality.

That’s all.

Although I call this sharing, it’s also a way to preserve memories for myself. I’ve always only shared hotel reviews on my blog because sharing itineraries felt troublesome. Starting to record itineraries through Trip is a great beginning ❤️
